All, I don't know if this will help, but maybe if a bunch of people put there thoughts in this posting, Symantec might take notice and actually moderate this forum.
I don't think symantec actually monitors that forum either. I have seen requests for help totally ignored by symantec. I have tried to help people who miss-posted into that forum to the correct forum where they should actually place their post.
Ever wonder why VERITAS Software used all capitals in their name? and why symantec uses all lowercase letters in their name?
and remember: Just because the VERITAS documentation states a certain thing does not make it a fact and that is truth.
Maybe someone should ask the same question (about monitoring the NBU forum) in the Backup Exec forum (where they actually monitor)... Ok... so it's probably hopeless.... :(
They will say that it is off topic and move it to the "Provide Feedback and Suggestions" forum where it linger in limbo, ignored for seven generations.
