But it is not working and we are unable to see the images of site A master server from site B master server, well port communication, host entries and other fundamentals are covered. what could be the cause?

Hello, The image information contain in NetBackup database. Every Master server maintain own database. If you want to see the backup image of A site Master and B site Master then both Master should contain that image information in NBU database. There are two way to add the required image information in database.

1. Use Auto Image Replication.

2. Manually import the image from B site to A site.

Both method have some requirement. If you want test or it just about couple of images then I would suggest go with manual import.

I have provide some article and guide for reference.

Auto Image Replication:

Please help us understand where and how on remote master are you expecting to see Master B images?
What are you hoping to accomplish?

Although with correct SERVER entries you may be able to see/list images, you won't be able to restore.

As per @Tousif , you eitheir need to import images or use AIR to replicate images between sites.
