VMWARE client selection on cbt/non-cbt ?

Hello

Wondered if somebody had found a way to differentiate between VMs with change blocking enabled and VMs without change block tracking enabled

We have some VMs where we cannot enable change block tracking because they have snapshots on them

CBT is not supported in oldervrsion of VM hardware.. 

and its being supported in new version i guess from VMhardware 7( not sure)

what is your VMhardware?

what is the netbckup version your using in backup host?

The problem is not the VM hardware (version 9), but some VMs with snapshots we are not allowed to delete to make the configuration change to cbt. We have created a special datastore & seperat policy for these VMs as a workaorund for now
