Hi Marianne,

All datastore is visible on backup host. Please tell me how or what option can I check?

Thank you.

Have you double checked for this wwn specifically?
Nothing more that I can say - I can only point out what is in the log.
'No path to device' means either OS level or ESX level permissions.
(In all honesty, I don't know enough about VMware to tell you what to else to look for. I would show this to Storage and VM admins. )

*** EDIT ***

Have a look at this recent post:

Hi Marianne,

Follow at this post, it mean that I have to initialize or take online all datastore on backup host. Do It impact to data on datastore?

Thank you.

No, this is not what Stuart said in that post. He was merely asking if this was the case, which indicated a problem at multipathing level.

Thank you. I missed a LUN from storage to backup host.
