VMware policy restore error(2820) - Netbackup 7.5.0.3

Yair
Level 4

Hi guys,

yesterday we've upgraded netbackup from 7.1 to 7.5.0.3

i updated our VMware's policy from FlashBackup-Windows to VMware backup type.

then came nightly full backup which ran fine.

and the day after i was requested to restore a file from a virtual machine that was backed up.

so... i started the restore of a single file from our Master/Media server using BAR back to the original server that the file was backed up from,

and got the following error:

If you need to restore the vmware image level backups to file system level, you need to install NetBackup client software on the target VMware client.
