Vault Duplication

Hi,

On Vault session there are 2 options: 1 - To carry out duplication with the same retentions of the original backup. 2 - To carry out duplication with retention requested (days, weeks, month or years) My trap question is:  We can reduce the retentions "inside" in the robot and to send via Vault Session of duplications with different retention requested (days, weeks, month or years) by owner? Examples: The backups of all my servers have retentions with one month in the robot and with the vault to have different retentions after duplication from Vault session on all backup.  It’s possible?

Why don't you change the retention you want to be in your policy rather than asking vault to do it?

No, I don't believe vault can change the retention of the source media.  You can do that with 'bpexpdate' manually.
