Verify EMM consistency

Hi All,

When we are trying to expire any media or images within it.. we are getting requested media id not found on EMM error, as a result we have to make Entry of media in EMM Database with issuing

bptm -makedbentry command, I suppose this is because of inconsistency of EMM Database, Is there any way to verify consistency of EMM database.. And what are prerequisites that need to be taken care of?

Log a call with symantec and request a nbcc 'check'.

You run a downloadable script, send in the output and they'll analyse this and help you work through the issues.

Hi,

NBCC is imageDB and policy consistency cheke, but EMMDB isn't check.

I think there aren't way to verify consistency of EMMDB.

But, The following commands are executed, EMMDB can be dumped to the Ascii file.

I think you are wrong. NBCC checks consistency of data stored in NBEMM (especially media)..

If you would like to check consistency of Sybase ASA database you should probably look for correct logs (server.log)
