Veritas Netbackup compatibility

Hi,

Just want to confirm on the below items:-

1) Due to some reason, I need to install Veritas Netbackup 5.1 to a Windows 2008 Ent Edition(64-bit) R910 server. Is this compatible?

2) Can a Netbakup 7.5 client connect to Netbackup 6.5 master?

3) Do we need licensing for both production and DR server for Veritas Netbackup master, client and database agent?

4) Any URL to check on end of support life for Veritas Netbackup?

Just my 2c about DR licensing:

If you use your DR site more than twice a year, you need to license it. Use production license if you test once or twice a year at DR site.

1. No, Win2008 compatibility didn't start until at least 6.5.2 (and maybe later depending on the flavour)

2. It is not supported.  (This isn't what you asked, but this is all I can say :) )

3. I don't know!  I defer to the other answers in this thread.
