OS (client) = W2k8 R2 X64, NBU 7.5.0.4
Anybody else seen this behaviour?
Windows restore keep failing after a while with errors like that below. The target server is a W2K8 box with quotas on the users home directories I suspect this is causing the failure because the quotas have been exceeded. Normally you get messages like this if a drive becomes full. The driuves on the server are not full. Planning to restore with quotas turned off, but cannot do that for a while.
Sample of restore output

hi,
could you please attach the restore log for this job..
if you did not change the restore log at the time of restore trigger ,
it would be in /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/user_ops/<userid>/logs for unix master
Installpath/veritas/netbackup/logs/user_ops/<userid>/logs -- Windows master

Hi Jim,
Usually, when you have quotas and they exceed, to perform the restore you will need:
If you try to restore and the quota is enabled and is not sufficient, the error appears.
Try one of the two alternatives above and tell us.

Hi
Thanks I think it is quotas.
Ran the restores to a specific restore directory (on the same drive) rather that than restore to original localtion with overwrite on. The restore ran with no errors. Now its over to the admins to fix so I do it to the original location.

Good find. And I like your domain name "backupland" :)
