NetBackup version NBU6.0MP4. This only seems to be an issue on PA RISC HP-UX 11.11 clients.

Has anyone else come across this before? Know what the cause / fix is? Possible patching / library issue?

Many thanks for any assistance.

Recheck the client and make sure it's at the same version as the master.  This has been seen when the client is at a lower rev than the master and they end up with those status 29s due to communication/protocol errors.

You can use the support script to quickly find versions of (for example), bplist and bpclntcmd.

You may also wish to enable the bplist log on the client.  (`mkdir /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/bplist`)

Good luck!
