duplicate between two FT media servers?

Need to use FC datatransport between two datacenters. Havn't found this scenario in doc. Guess I need two HBA's in each mediaserver, and LAN connections for control/config.

Should work like normal duplications between mediaservers. Data is already compressedandcrypted, we so cannot dedupe.

Can I use two FT media servers for this?

The appliance fibre channel guide has information on which ports to use depending on your model. Look for "Optimized duplication (FT storage zone) - initiator" in the doc

Foundt it. We are not using appliances (yet..)

About NetBackup fibre transport (page 9) :

"Optimized duplication and Auto Image Replication between NetBackup media
servers" (will not dedup or AIR, just dup of images already compressedandcrypted)
