duplication issue

Hi,

Suddenly one of my media servers stopped duplicating images to tape library. I tried to re-discover tape drives in NB, it didn't help. I tried to re-discover tape library and tape drives in Windows, hardware was found w/o issues. Tape library is attached over fiber and it is shared between other media server and all other media server doesn't have any issues.

By the way,  did you ever get an answer to this one?

Seems I am having the same problem although it only seems to be random images e.g. 3 out of around 400+ images and normally after my Weekly Full backups.  When I rerun the duplication job afterwards, it completes successfully without duplicating any new images that "apparently" failed previously.

If I run a bpimagelist on the "failed" images, it showes that the duplication images were created as normal.

Running NetBackup 6.5.1A in a similar environment.

Point to a media server problem, check your tpconfig, tpautoconf and vmglob output and ensure the drives Serial Number, Path and Name match between this 3 DB's, then try to use robtest to test if you can connect to the library and move media around and to finish check the bptm logs for any error.
