Hi Expert,

I want to backup /var/images only not backup all_local_drives in order to save disk space and time.

I put "/var/images"in Backup Selections, but after backup, nothing was backed up.

Could anyone help me on this issue? Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Lacey

when the backup is compleated.. what is the Kilobytes its wrriten ?  you can find it in activity Moniter.

Do you have any Exclude list in place in the client in location

/usr/openv/netbackup/exclude_list

if yes.. make sure exclude_list file does not have the /var/images listed and try again.

If you use " in your selection then remove them. If not create a directory /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/bpbkar on the client and rerun the backup. Post the job details and the log file and we will take a look. Also post the policy info up bppllist policyname -L

Thanks for all your answers revarooo and RamNagalla.

I made exclude_list file but I forgot it, thanks for RamNagalla's remind.

After removing the exclude list, the backup is OK now.

Thank you again!
