"ERROR: file read failed" when trying to restore Exchange 2007 via BAR

I have Exchange 2007 CCR Cluster on two Windows Server 2008 64-bit machines. I cannot restore data from any node, since there is an "ERROR: file read failed" message. The message apears when I select a time range (the bullets at the upper frame) and when "Backup, Archive and Restore" is trying to communicate with master server.

The only way to restore Exchange data is to initiate it from master server.

I have made an entry in altnames directory on master server for cluster hosts.

The environment:

- NetBackup MasterServer version: 6.5.3

- NetBackup MasterServer OS: RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.2 64-bit

- NetBackup Client version: 6.5.3

- NetBackup Client OS: Windows Server 2008 64-bit

My first thougt.....

in the BAR ( where you see those bullets).

go to view and un-check "Show Netbackup History as a TimeLine"

now look at your list.

do you have a size on your backups?

Are you trying to restore just an Inbox or the full Information Store of Exchange? this can be an issue for restores because normaly the Information Store can only be restored from the master side.

I'm trying to restore full Information Store of Exchange 2007. Are you saying, that this cannot be made from Exchange 2007 side? Only from Master Server side?

I have done a few times some restores of Exchange 2003 IS from Exchange side and it succeeded. Things have changed since Exchange 2007?
