I am trying to configure backups for sap-hana appliance. my netbackup environment is completely 7.7.2 (appliance is 2.7.2)
As I know very little (I mean absolutely nothing) about sap-hana, going over the documentation has me somewhat nervous.
according to the documentation (https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.000076655) it looks like I need to edit sap configuration files (the part that has me nervous) , and write backup scripts (this part I just hate) .
since the guide is very thorough, with much information that I don't really need for our setup/environment, I was hoping to get a short checklist of what I need to do, warnings of what not to do, and etc. I wish to make certain I don't skip something important thinking its irrelevant , or just screw up the entire saphana appliance.
also I was hoping for a more up-to date guide (hopefully at 7.7.2 netbackup has already intelligent policies for sap)
