Below files are skipping from a linux virtual server (behind firewall).

What could be done to avoid this?

As already stated, you don't want these backed up so them being skipped is good.

If you want to avoid the message in the Detailed Status, add the files or directory into the /usr/openv/netbackup/exclude_list so bpbkar never attempts to access them.

These are probably in process memory files. Special files

 

READ these TECHNOTES and read them again. If you are not sure about any of the concepts discussed in them speak with a Unix/Linux admin.

You don't do anything with these files, they are always skipped and do not need to be backed up.

They are not quite tmp files, but you can consider them as such.
