vm.conf question

here goes...

if the following

SERVER = in not present in the VM.CONF file, will this disallow hostsw to view and manage devices on the local host?

or will the presence of this entry only allow the designated host to view and manage devices on the local host

if SERVER = is not present then the machine cannot manage.
If the person can log into the machine in question ie they have authenticatiion they will be able to view.

Let me edit this if SERVER = HOSTNAME is in bp.conf you can view and manage the server.

if you have DEVICE_HOST = HOSTNAME in vm.conf then the box can be a media server.Message was edited by:

SERVER = Master_server_name is for the bp.conf file
