Dear Experts

Just curious to know,  vmdareq -display or vmdareq -driveinfo     &  vmoprocmd   output not matching.

The number of drives I see in  vmoprcmd o/p , but I do not see few of the drives in the output of vmdareq -display or -driveinfo

Can someone please clarify.

Regards!

My experience has been that vmdareq will only report on shared drives.

vmoprcmd will report on all drives.

Please show us ouput of vmdareq (no options) and vmoprcmd (no options) on the master server.

Hi Marianne

Sorry I could not come back to you.

But  You Are Right....

As you said , I have compared both outputs and looks like

vmdareq will only report on shared drives.

vmoprcmd will report on all drives.

because under vmoprcmd what I see the drives which got single host name means they are not shared and that drive is not shown in  vmdareq output.

So U R RIGHT.

thanks for your help!
