hi, We have an environment include one master server and 18 media servers and the tape library is STK acs library 9310. I noticed some times if I start master server first and then media servers, it takes a long time (can be more than 2-3 hours) for jobs in those media servers to start to run (drives are availble for sure), they always are queued for an long time.if I start media servers first, and then lastly master server, the jobs will start right away if drives available in media servers. I never heard from Symantec there should be no such requirement to start/stop netbackup, Anybody has the same problem ?
