Service Desk 7.1 MAPI support

I'm looking to see if Service Desk 7.1 will support MAPI connections instead of POP3 as with previous versions for security reasons.

Up until version ~6.0.308? you may only configure POP3 Email Inboxes.  From version 6.0.308 there is now an option to configure an Email Inbox using IMAP4. To configure an Email Inbox Click Incidents > Admin > Email Inbox > New Email Inbox on the Incidents tab.
