Does it work in a virtual environment and what network overhead is there?

hi,

does anyone know if the service works with virtual servers? Also,  Does anyone know what the network overhead is?  I know this is difficult to know but I was wondering if it employs any special technology to reduce network overhead (such as differential backups).

PandaPaul,

The backup agents can run in virtual Windows environments, for example in VMWare (which we officially tested).

As for network efficiency, after the first full backup, we transmit only block level differences forever, which is quite efficient in most cases.
