The following are the memory requirements for SUSE Linux, Red Hat Linux, and the Symantec Recovery Disk:
SUSE Linux: 256 MB
Red Hat Linux: 256 MB
If you create a Symantec Recovery Disk, 512 MB minimum (dedicated) is required
Other required software:
• The mount.v2i option uses Lib fuse (32-bit version). Currently, only Fuse 2.7.x is supported. Other versions of Fuse are not supported, but may work.
• createSRD uses the squashfs-tools package on RHEL for creating RHEL Symantec Recovery Disks. SUSE Linux Enterprise Server requires mkcramfs, which is installed by default.
Hope this answer your question.
