I had been using BESR 8.5 which was easy and straightforward to use. I was protecting 15 windows 2003 servers in total without issues.
Having now upgraded to BESR v2010, I am just having so many problems and I have no image backups for a few weeks now. I am seriously considering moving back to 8.5 but that will be EOL soon and doesn't support Windows 2008 I've read.
Problems:
I have installed the Altiris agent and the BESR 2010 plug in on my 14 other W2003 servers.
- How do I install the BESR software (with user interface) onto the 14 other servers WITHOUT having them automatically restarted? I need to restart them manually at the businesses convenience.
- How do I make sure the whole thing is correctly licensed? I have 7 license keys (from the upgrade notificaiton) with a qty of 8 against two of the keys.
