BESR 2010 hold at 95 precent

Hi all,

I have installed the new BESR 2010 on a SBS 2003 R2 Server. The program works 1 1/2 weeks really good but now we have many problems with them.

The full image backup stops at 95 precent and holds then. Only when I restart the BESR service I can make new backups but no incrementle.

We backup directly on a external HDD and make then a offsite copy to a network share. The check of the backup files works, but it stops at 95%.

Can me help someone please. Big big thanks.

Hi Torakas,

Verify if your issue could be solved with information at KB 305459, about the destination drive (i.e.: external IOmega Drive) is formatted to FAT32. Re-formatting the drive to NTFS will allow the backup job to complete successfully. (http://support.veritas.com/docs/305459 )

Do you have any error message at Event Log (Application or System)?

On the Backup Exec System Recovery 2010 Management Solution ManageTasks tab, expand the Configuration Policies list in the left pane and enable "Event Log" and "Log File" to have more information about the problem.
