I am trying to restore a server using the BESR bootable CD.  The CD loads up, starts the newword friver but when I try to ender a static IP its says its unable to do so. Obviously before I can recover the PC it needs to have an IP so it can see the location of the recovery files.

The computer is a Dell Server 4400 with a broadcom NIC but the BESR recovery says its an Intel????????????

I tried loading the Broadcom drivers but no change

Pulling my hair out as I need to get this server recovered

Is it possible to insert a generic Intel NIC and disable/remove the BroadCom NIC and boot the SRD? The BroadCom NIC uses a RIS driver for WinPE and I've had some models not load correctly in WinPE.
