BESR2010 Never Creates New Recovery Point, keeps incrementing

Hello I have a couple of clients who are using Backup Exec Server Recovery 2010. The software is set up to create a new basline backup on a Sunday at 20:00 and an incremental backup Mon-fri at 20:00, it is set to a "Recovery Point set limit" of 1 This appaers to work as you get smaller backups during the week and then a large one on a Sunday, howver it never removes the old backups and when you look at the "Managge Backup Destination" it shows all the backups as 1 recovery point set accross as many days as its been running. Why is it doing this? Mark

I don't know but we sometimes faced this issue too. My solution is to adjust the backup time by 5 minutes, e.g. if the time was 10 pm, I change it to 10:05 pm. After that the backups run just fine.

Ensure that you have installed SP1 of BESR 2010.

Full backups are .v2i files and incrementals are .iv2i files. What exactly do you see in your backup destination folder? Can you provide a screenshot?
