Backup Exec System Recovery 2011 FilterManager Event ID 3

Each time a backup runs in backup exec system recovery on my windows 2008 R2 system an event log error is logged for FilterManager event ID 3. Here are the details on the event log:

Log Name:      System
Source:        Microsoft-Windows-FilterManager
Date:          12/22/2011 6:03:35 AM
Event ID:      3
Task Category: None
Level:         Error
Keywords:
User:          SYSTEM
Computer:      R710
Description:
Filter Manager failed to attach to volume '\Device\HarddiskVolume25'.  This volume will be unavailable for filtering until a reboot.  The final status was 0xc03a001c.

The hard disk volume number changes almost ever time. Anyone know why I am getting this error? Can I disable the filtermanager, is it needed?

Event seems to be generating at around 6:03:35 AM. Was SSR doing backups at that time? It doesn't really sound like SSR is doing this, however, you can check this forums where it seems others are also facing similar issues without using the SSR

May be you can check those above forums to get more information on that Source and Event ID.

Our USB backup drive was having issues, and locking up the server when then backups where going to the drive. Removing the drive solved the issue.
