Blinking cursor at reboot after succesfull restore to .vhd

After a hardware failure of my physical server I'm trying to restore my v2i file to a HyperV .vhd machine. The restore is succesfull, I selected, restore anywhere, Delete drivers and Prompt for drivers. After reboot my screen turns black, no Bios messages or OS messages, just a blinking cursor.

Also tried to restore to new physical machine with Restore Anywhere option, Delete drivers and Prompt for drivers, same problem here ! Can someone help me out ?

For the Restore Options please make sure you selected the following: (Only for system/boot drive)

  • Set drive acitve (for booting OS)
  • Restore master boot record

Do not select:

  • Restore original disk signature
