When I try to create a recovery point of my C drive I got this message
Error EC8F17B7: Cant't create recovery point: C Recovery point C:\
Error E7C3000F: The device \\.\SymantecSnapshot0 couldn't read 4.096 sector that start in LBA 61.039.648.
Error EBAB03F1: Data error (cyclic redundancy check ).

You may also want to check to be sure that the Symantec VSS provider is listed under VSSADMIN LIST PROVIDERS command, as well as that after the error is given that all of the VSS writers using the VSSADMIN LIST WRITERS are listed as stable.
Can you successfully run a system state backup using NTBACKUP on this machine?
