Endpoint Protection Manager 11.0.x and Backup Exec System Recovery Manager 8.5.x

Can they both be installed on the same server?

I have a fully functional installation of Endpoint Protection Manager 11.0.x on a Windows 2003 server.  I recently installed Backup Exec System Recovery Manager 8.5.x on the same server.  When I try to open the Backup Exec System Recovery Manager it does not work.  This appears to be an issue with both applications using a web based interface with the same ports.  Is there a way to get them both to function on the same server?

You try to get them to work together on the same system, but we recommend having them on separate servers.  Here is an article that may help you:

I just went through this :) 

called tech support.

Took a few attempts but its working now :)

Install Endpoint manager

Change the default ports (configuration wizard. but leave the database (embedded) port alone.)

Edit registry to change  

http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2008011823304748

Then run the wizard again and make sure the database port is set.

Reboot.

Install besr 8.5 with default settings.
