License key not vallid

Hello,

After a succesfull installation of SSR SBS 2011 i am trying to activate the product.

I am sure that the key i retyped from the certificate is correct (tryed 3 thimes and a colleague has double checked this)  has dubble  

-Info 6C8F1C25: Cannot activate this product using license key XX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXX. The license key is not valid.

Please enter the correct license key.

---Cannot install license.

----Error EC8F17C8: Invalid serial number: XX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXX.

That key appears to be valid for SBS.

What language is the operating system installed in? Is it non-English?

Im trying it to install on Windows 2008 R2 (premium add on) with virtual SBS 2011 installed. OS is native English with dutch language pack installed

So are you trying to install it on 2008 R2 then? If yes, you probably have the wrong license - you'll need a server edition license, not an SBS license.
