Livestate Recovery version 6 and Dell "Poweredge 1950"

I have a Symantec Livestate Recovery version 6 and Dell "Poweredge 1950" server with PERC 5/i SAS HD controller and driver validation of Livestate tells that there are no drivers on the CD for it.

Where can I find the appropriate drivers for PERC 5/i for F6 when booting from Livestate CD incase I will have to restore my entire server after a crash?

Hello,

If you send a message to nic_drivers@symantec.com describing your driver needs (missing PERC mass storage controller in this case) they should be able to provide you with an updated SRD disk containing the right drivers.

Backup Exec System Recovery version 7.0 allows you to do all this yourself.  It will autmoatically "harvest" the PERC driver from your system and builda new SRD for you.

Yes, upgrade pricing should be available from BESR 6.x or 6.5x to 7.0.  If you contact our customer care center I'm sure they can point you in the right direction.
