Hello,
I have several servers and workstations that are giving me error messages when I try to install the latest update. All of these were originally BESR v7.0 and were updated to v7.0.1.2808. The error from the liveupdate log is:

Hello,

If no one else has any suggestions, I would recommend you submit a ticket to technical support.

One question however: Did you download the full build of BESR 7.01 and do a full install in order to update your systems to the 7.01 service pack, or were they updated via Live Update?

Thanks.

Hi Bill,

Thanks for the response.

I did a full download and install over the top. I didn't see the 7.0.1 in Liveupdate (I wrote a note at the time to say that it may be a good feature just to put a text advisory of manual update availability in Liveupdate).

Since then I have found that my un-updated v7.0 BESRs work fine on Liveupdate, it's just the v7.0.1 version that doesn't.

I'll give it a few days and start an support call if it doesn't clear up. My guess is that the update may only be for the original version anyway and shouldn't show up for the later one.

-Chris.

PS. I've used the other Symantec product forums and not had much response, I was going to give up on them. Your prompt and informed input on this forum makes it worth tracking regularly. Thanks again and please keep up the good work!
