Restoring Exchange mailboxes using Veritas 9.1 When Exchange org name is unknown

Simple question would be does anyone have any ideas?

Senario is a mess, but here goes:

The system has been re-built up without using system state recovery or AD recovery. Patching and versions are all to same as was previous.
Server name, OS, etc are all as was.

I do not have a back-up of the actually edb files as part of a file back-up but do have a veritas Back-up of the information store, Mailboxes and public store.
I now have a new running version of Exchange with no Mailbox data restored. However with the new istallation I am not entirely certain of the Exchange org name compared with the previous.

I have tried restoring without sucess. If the org name was incorrect, would the following error tally up with this:

Job type : Restore
Job status : Failed
Job log : C:\Program Files\VERITAS\Backup Exec\NT\Data\BEX00067.xml
Server name : JRGSRV3
Selection list name : Restore 0038
Device name : HP 1
Target name : HP 1
Media set name :
Error category : Resource Errors
Error code : a000848c HEX
Error description : Unable to attach to one of the drives.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

An aside note to this is if I do a redirect restore on the same server I get the following:

Set status : Completed
Set description :
Resource name : \\JRGSRV3\Microsoft Information Store\First Storage Group
Logon account : administrator
Error code : a0008488 HEX
Error description : Access is denied.
Agent used : No
Advanced Open File Option used : No
Image used : No
