Hello,

we have Terminalserver 2008 / 64bit with SEBR8.5. After every reboot of the server, SEBR8.5 creates a new set of RecoveryPoints. How can we prevent from this? Becaus we only want 1 set per Month.

thanks

Do you mean that it creates a full backup after a reboot when it should be creating an incremental?

If so, this was resolved so can you confirm which build of 8.5 you have (check in Help-About).

Thanks for answer.

In deed, it makes a full backup.

My version is 8.5.0.28843 and Live-Update told me, that this version should be the newest, no update available.

thanks

OK, you need to update to 8.5.5 which should fix this. The patch is here:

ftp://iosupport:iS*pp8rT1@ftp.entsupport.symantec.com/pub/support/outgoing/BESR855/Symantec_Backup_Exec_System_Recovery_8.5.5_Patch.exe

You must reboot after installing this patch.

Thank you very much.
Is this patch also for 64bit versions? If yes, i`ll hurry up to "kill" the problems.,
