Some basic questions regarding this.
We currently use Backd Exec with IDR on the media server (tape driven) which is also a DC. We have another Exchange server/DC and one File and Print (no IDR's).
1. The file/print data drive is 600Gb in size - can we just use Server Recovery to image the operating system and use Veritas to restore selected data.
2. Would you recommend buying 3 licenses for 3 above servers; I presume that 'Recovery' would only compliment Backup Exec and not replace it.
3. What frequency would you suggest backups? Possible weekly to external/USB storage device?
