System Recovery with Granular Restore Log Pruning

Question.  Does BESR 8 w/Granular Restore perform the Exchange 2003 Server log pruning?
 
The SBS Backup Wizard does this, but I want to know if BESR can/does as well, so that I can stop having to run the SBS NT backup and use BESR exclusively.

Also, can it do the pruning on the SQL transactional logs?

Backup Exec System Recovery does support truncation of SQL and Exchange transaction logs. In version 7.0 this was enabled by default, in versions 8.0 and 8.5, follow the instructions in the technote linked below to truncate Exchange/SQL logs.
