We have removed some drives from an old server that we currently backup using a remote agent. I have been into the Backup Selection List and reselected the correct drives and options for this agent. However we now get this failure every night. V-7...

Same result after erasing using the HP LTT as when they were brand new out of the box....

I didn't. I'll do that now and test the same 3 text files with both the HP and Quantum tapes

Anyone got any ideas? Using Backup Exec Tests with old tapes result in compression. Tests with 20+ new tapes, both HP and Quantum brand get no compression. Using HP LTT Compression tests pass on both old and new tapes.

Ok, I've just ran the exact same, 3 text file backup using a new quantum tape rather than the usual HP ones. Attached is quantum.bin (in a .zip file). Looking at the tracer results with my untrained eye, it doesn't appear to be giving any different ...
