Okay, makes sense.. Yes tape drive was replaced due to hardware fualt since it was replaced i got these issues with the one. okay will try and remove old drives

Hi CraigV I have done that but when i restart the server with the FC cable unpluged it still keeps saying MIssing a drive or its offline. now i suspect that could be the cuase but how do i get rid off the offline drive or is that correct @ vivek ...
