HI, I have a very strange problem with backup exec 10d 5629 since a few days de backup jobs keeps failing, when i started a cleaning job for the drive it starts, but the percentage complete keep changing from 10, 11, 14, 16 and back to 10% the job...

i didnt understand that also. but.. i have found the problem. i dont know why i didnt noticed it yesterday. an inventory scan from backup exec didnt work, but on the management page of the unit there is also a inventory scan possible. so i run it....

Thanks for youre reply, yesterday i found on the support site that some scsi id's should not be used, e.g. 0,1 and 6. So i changed it to id 5. Dell didint send a brand new one, but a refurbished one. Because the unit is in oure datacenter, i cant ...
