Infiniband as interconnect for Veritas Cluster Filesystem?

Does anyone know if Infiniband is supported as the interconnect for Veritas Cluster Filesystem 5.1 on AIX 6.1?  Or is ethernet the only option?  I haven't been able to find a definitive answer in the documentation.
