I want to stop alert 57476 from appearing in my Windows event logs.I looked in 'tools/alert categories' for the alert but could not find an alert with that number.How can I stop that alert from being placed in the Windows event logs?With thanks.

No that article has nothing to do with our problem. From what I have read it appears that old versions of BE did not back up or can not restore contacts and calenders.I am still looking for some help with this problem if anyone has any advice.

i actually looked up further info from the rror within the technotes and they said the error iscaused by the file on the tape and not on the disk. It also mentioned to select the 'Never' or 'Ignore' or simial option when not using Advanced Open File ...
