ok I think I have fixed it!!! It was a hard-coded entry so I went to the registry on the file server (client) HKLM --> SOFTWARE --> VERITAS --> NETBACKUP --> CURRENT VERSION --> CONFIG There is a Key called "Server", I edited that and remove the 192....

Hi Marrianne, I see what you mean I should have given you guys the log from the client (file server) which kinda helps, coz its trying to contact an ip of 192.168.0.2 which is not valid and when I select the BAR to delete that ip from the Server List...

Hi Mark, I have attached of the BAR GUI and I made sure that it had the backup server listed in the server list as you can see and the log file under Bpcd makes no sense to me coz I dont know what to look for ;-). I have attached that file as well....
