I have a client running BE9.1 with a HP Ultrium 230. This drive has just gone faulty and has been replaced with an HP Ultrium 232. This drive is not listed in the 9.1 HCL but does anyone know if the 232 will work successfully with 9.1?Thanks

HiI have a client running BE 10.1 with a Sony SDX-700C tape drive. They are experiencing a high number of soft read and write errors and some hardware errors during the backups. I've had some feedback from Sony who suggest installing BE driver 5.1.17...

Thanks DeepaliI understand that 'officially' it is not a supported drive in 9.1 but just wondered if anyone had tried this combination and could offer any suggestion as to whether it's viable.RegardsTiran
