The problem reappeared. I modified the registry but the problem was still there - the only difference was that there was no error in a log anymore.

No, I haven't disabled active file exclusion because after I shuted down domino and made a full backup we don't have any more problems with backuping domino server.If the problem repeats I'll disable afe and let you know if that will resolve the prob...

I forgot to mention that backup exec doesn't use 10.000 port - it is using port 12.000 instead.

I ran oracle agent in debug mode - when I edit (make selections) test job sometihng logs in ntodebug.log. But when I run the same test job that I was editing earlier, nothing logs in ntodebug.log.Is this in any way helpful?
