Veritas 9.1 - falling over

I use Veritas 9.1 in conjunction with Exchange W2k standard edition, periodically the nightly backup freezes at the same place ( 647,348 bytes). Does anybody know of a bug with V9.1 and of a cure.Thanks in advanceNick
