Hi Napoleon, In my experience, tapes are used in the order that they become available for use.... It picks (I think) the tape that has been available the longest. If you erase them in the order you want them used, it should work out for you.~mike

Nothing much more to report, other than Linux backups keep failing at the same point each time - on files that are NOT corrupt and were backed up successfully prior to the re-addressing.I've reinstalled the the agent, tried mostly everything I could ...

The drives always remain online, but pending jobs will not run to that inactive drive. There are tapes available, as evidenced by the fact that once the job currently running on the drive that remains working, the next job starts on that same drive....
