Hi I have just installed a new windows 2003 and backup exec 2012 vray. Then I clicked on "inventory and catalog" on all library. but I've got the following error on 3 slots.

0xe0000900 - The requested media is not listed in the media index and could not be mounted. To add the media's catalog information to the disk-based catalogs, run an inventory operation on the media and resubmit the Catalog operation.

On the other slots everythings was gone well.

Maybe I have some problem on those tapes ?

Do you check this article for this issue http://www.backupexecfaq.com/unable-to-catalog-media/

If it's not work, follow below steps

Open Symantec Backup Exec > Click Tools and Options >select Catalog> remove the check mark “Use storage media-based catalogs” >Click OK and try again.
You may want to enable “Use storage media-based catalogs” when done with your catalog

You probably have some tapes that are missing from your library. For example, your backup set spans 2 tapes and you have only one of the tapes in the library. If you return the other tape to the library, then you can do your Catalog without getting the error message

Hello,

along with unchecking Use storage-based catalogs also uncheck Request all media in the sequence for catalog operations

also verify you are using Symantec drivers and  stop and disable the Removable Storage Service (RSM)

see  http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH24414
