10.0 Loading media

I am running BE 10.0 ver 5484 Service pack 1. Sometimes when a scheduled backup kicks off, it sits at the loading state for 15 -20 minutes. These are running on HP stand alone LTO2 drives. I have the latest veritas tape drivers installed. Any ideas?

The backup jobs are on the CAS server and the drives are attached to the local MMS. I am backing up C and D drives on a Windows 2003 server. No active alerts. The job just hangs "loading media".. The CAS server is in Tampa and the MMS servers are deployed throughout the US.

Are you getting any media alerts?

Are the event id's 7 , 9, 11 or 15 are occured in the system event log?
