11d SQL error

Hi I have an issue with 11d, everynight the backup either doesn't run or fails, I have the following error from the event logs

An error occurred while attempting to log in to the following server: "HHUK-SVR01".

SQL error number: "0011".

SQL error message: "[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist or access denied.

This error happens also when you try a test run of the job,

The server is an 2003 SBS with backup exec and exchange, when the job fails this is the error message

Access is denied to Remote Agent.  Check the login account for the specified device.

This is failing on the actual server that Backup Exec is installed on.

Was this an upgrade from a previous version of Backup Exec?  If so, I'd suggest to simply go in the job, deselect 'system state',  reselect it, and submit the job again.
